Sultan Show 2010

The Sultan Summer Show has grown from the humble beginnings of a local community BBQ, hosted by the sailors of HMS Sultan into one of the largest family entertainment shows on the South Coast drawing over 25,000 visitors over the 2 day main event.

The Show has maintained its ethos of family entertainment incorporating a wide variety of affordable attractions for all age groups.  More importantly the show has maintained its commitment of being a not for profit show, with all monies made being donated to local and service charities.  We are proud to publish that over £56,000 has been donated to a variety of charities from last year’s show alone.

On Friday night, SULTAN hosts a Free Children’s Party for over 500 under privileged and special needs children.  It is packed with entertainers, Punch and Judy shows, petting zoos, funfair rides and many other entertaining delights for the children.

The weekend is the public side of the Show.  With all the children’s entertainment, the main arena, military vehicles, steam lorries, the village fete, showcase acts, commercial and charity stalls and locally supplied produce to name just a few elements of the show, we are encouraged that 2010 will ensure that the shows ethos of family entertainment is maintained.
